Convertible Hans Platzgumer Munich Convertible is the follow-up to legendary 90s grunge outfit 'Hp Zinker'. After Zinker broke up in 94, frontman Hans Platzgumer did not touch a guitar for a whole decade. He successfully turned to electronics instead. In 2004 he started to combine his electronic skills with his guitar playing and released Convertible's debut abum. Through the following two albums (Frailty Of Win - Strength of Defeat, 2006, and 3, 2008) he dropped more and more of the digital devices. For the Convertible's fourth album 'ALH84001' (out since October 2010) he reached almost pure acoustic music, making Convertible now sound like a proper string band, conveying extraordinary song writings.
