Philip Crawford Philip Crawford is a former reporter and editor for the Paris-based International Herald Tribune (now the New York Times International Edition). Originally from Summit, New Jersey, he spent fifteen years in western Massachusetts working as a freelance writer and professional pianist before moving overseas to France. A graduate of Amherst College and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, he divides his time between Paris and Aix-en-Provence.
