08 Rendition For Strings by Paul Hepker | batmandela | kekila music published on 2014-08-02T12:17:39Z The soundtrack for the New Line movie "Rendition" - co-composed with fellow South African, Mark Kilian. This is the second movie we did with director Gavin Hood. We recorded a number of brilliant Moroccan musicians at Wolfgang Funk's studio in Marrakech, where the movie was being filmed on location. We then incorporated their performances into the score. We also featured the amazing duduk of Pedro Eustache, and Marissa Steingold's haunting voice. MC Rai supplied some arabic vocal craziness on the track "Journal". We added a 40 piece string section at the Clint Eastwood recording stage on the Warner Brothers lot in Burbank. Genre Rendition
