Paul Larrozea

Born in a small village on the Basque Coast and based between Barcelona and Bali, Paul Larrozea began his journey as a DJ after connecting deeply with electronic music during his time in Budapest in 2015. Since then he has been a defender of the values of electronic music, through his content and in his performances both locally and internationally. Elegant, dynamic, and heart-warming: his music adapts to any environment, but groovy rhythms and melodies that stay with you are always present. He thrives in extended sets where he can guide the audience through a full emotional arc, from warm-up to closing, building nights that take you somewhere unexpected and bring you back changed. His record to date is a non-stop 8-hour set in Chiapas, Mexico. He plays a mix of indie dance, house, and melodic house and techno, sounding more organic at daytime environments and going more techy at night. Being not just a DJ led him to found Melodeep, a label built around one conviction: music should make people feel, not just fill a dancefloor. Beyond the booth, he documents the craft and shares what most artists keep to themselves, convinced that a healthier, more conscious scene starts with artists who give back to it.
