Paul Ballam-Cross Paul Ballam-Cross Paul Ballam-Cross is a composer and classical guitarist. He has completed a Bachelor of Music in Performance majoring in classical guitar, upon the completion of which he was awarded the Griffith Award for Academic Excellence 2010, and is currently studying with Karin Schaupp. He has also participated in a masterclass with Jonathan Paget. Paul has an interest in new music, and a desire to expand the classical guitar’s use in contemporary classical music; he has participated in the premiere of several works, and his own compositions are published by Wirripang. He is a regular radio presenter on both 4MBS’ Daybreak Classics, and The Classical Guitar. Paul gave performances at the 2012 Australasian Computer Music Conference, and at the Adelaide International Guitar Festival.
