paul-anthony-romero Paul Anthony Romero Los Angeles Composer and pianist Paul Anthony Romero enjoys a career that includes composing classical orchestral soundtracks for popular computer games (including Ubisoft's HEROES OF MIGHT & MAGIC series & Sony's EVERQUEST series). He co-creates his orchestral, operatic, & choral soundtrack scores with Rob King, his music partner and producer for over 24 years. Paul Anthony Romero enjoys performing solo piano concerts (and concerti) around the world, focusing on live concert versions of Heroes Of Might & Magic, plus the romantic repertoire of Chopin, Liszt & Rachmaninoff. Paul taught himself to play the piano and compose at the age of three. He began his formal piano and composition lessons at age 9. His first primary piano teacher was Earle C. Voorhies, who was one of the last Juilliard pupils of Alexandre Siloti, the great 19th-century Russian pianist (and cousin to Sergei Rachmaninoff). Siloti was one of Franz Liszt's most notable pupils. Paul also studied piano with Ms. Valarie Alexandra Valois during his teenage years. Ms. Valois was a pupil of the legendary Italian pianist, Arturo Michelangeli. During these young years Paul studied composition with Dr. Joel Kabakov through the Yamaha Music Education System. Paul accepted a full scholarship to the Curtis Institute Of Music in Philadelphia where he studied under Pulitzer-prize winning composer Ned Rorem and pianist Dr. Vladimir Sokoloff, as well as chamber music with members of the Guaneri String Quartet. Paul finished his musical studies at the Ecole de Beaux Arts at the Chateau de Fontainebleu in France and at London's Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Paul worked with the famed Argentine pianist Eduardo Delgado in his early 20's.
