02.Biorc-Variable_De_Forma by Oscar Mulero published on 2026-06-10T15:39:40Z Written and Produced by Biorc It’s always our pleasure to have new and young talent onboard, and Biorc has been in our radar for quite a long time. Label boss Oscar Mulero usually plays his productions and now it’s time for having a complete album on the label. No less than ten cuts of precise, pulsant and crispy modern techno is what Biorc provides in this superb debut. The sound trip starts with Plano Oscilante, no drones, no sweeps, just a direct beat with percussive elements showing up gradually. Textures and washes appear as the groove goes on getting things busy and filling the sound spectrum. Sonic intensity could be the description here. Following, Variable de Forma, with distant Detroit echoes on the sounds, all supported by a punchy kick and sharp hi hat action. The intelligent arrangement is spiced with occasional details keeping the dancer’s attention every second. A proper dj tool for those who love to melt. Ciclo honours the name, with hypnosis as principal purpose, sub bass frequencies are heavy here and the stereo field workout is also notable. Margen Interno goes asymmetrical, with synth elements falling as drops over the shuffled rhythm, all elements are wisely arranged for a proper dancefloor experience. Ecosoma brings back the mental approach, with a constantly growing drone evolving over a punchy groove, coming and going as the playhead advances. On Presión Inestable the rhythmic elements are prominent kick drum enlarges and sub frequencies take control of the physics. White noise washes make the contrast and the result is a massive club destroyer. Number eight Colmena brings the sensation of a massive group of bees approaching, the main synth line goes on since the first bar and as the arrangement goes sudden percussive details interrupt the trance bringing the digital funk to the equation. This one will be heard a lot in proper clubs out there. Gradiente is elastic and gummy, using a dynamic and mutant synth line as the main element to provide the required obsessive dose of mentalism. Special mention to the occasional 909 snare action. To finish this gymnastic sound voyage Deriva closes the album in drill mode, piercing your inner ear with continuous sequences and microdrones joined by the usual cutting edge groove that flows all over this release.
