When I embarked on this journey, I never ever imagined I would be celebrating producing and recording my 35th Album...what a wonderful experience this has been. This Album is one of the most challenging albums I have ever recorded and produced to date...It has taken me to the next level on my musical journey...so I hope you enjoy listening or dancing to the songs. This Album is a composition of cover songs from 1964 to 2022, across the genres and through the generations...There are also previous volumes 1 to 4 which have been released earlier...so go on and have a listen if you haven’t heard them before...bound to entertain...for sure. The songs from the Sixties include ‘On The Beach’ (1964) by Cliff Richard, which is a new version and a song by the Rolling Stones called ‘The Last Time’ (1965). Seventies hits include ‘Lady Rose’ (1971) by the British group Mungo Jerry. The title track ‘Let’s Dance (Vol.5) (1972) by the group called The Cats, ‘Saturday Night’ (1973) by the Bay City Rollers, ‘You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)’ (1978) by the American singer Sylvester, ‘Blame It On The Boogie’ (1978) by Michael Jackson, ‘I Was Made For Dancin’ (1978) by Leif Garrett, ‘Save Me’ (1979) by the all-female South African rock band Clout. So, I hope these bring back a few memories.... The Eighties hits include ‘Modern Love’ (1983) by the English singer-songwriter David Bowie, ‘Wild Wild Life’ (1986) by the American rock band Talking Heads and ‘Lambada’ (1989) by the French-Brazilian pop group Kaoma. Nineties Hits include ‘Macarena’ (1993) by the Spanish pop duo Los del Rio, ‘Movin On Up’ (1993) by the British band M People, ‘100% Pure Love’ (1994) by the singer-songwriter Crystal Waters, and ‘Mysterious Girl’ (1996) by British singer-songwriter Peter Andre. Hits from 2000 onward include ‘Country Girl’ (2006) by the Scottish rock band Primal Scream, ‘Shut Up and Dance’ (2014) by American pop band Walk The Moon, ‘Levitating’ (2020) by English singer Dua Lipa and ‘Bam Bam’ (2022) by Cuban-American singer Camila Cabello, featuring vocals from English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. So, I really enjoyed the challenge in doing this dance album in which I continue to learn and improve my musical skills and knowledge.
