Heartfelt melodies, timeless songs that your guests will recognise and enjoy played at a volume that will not drown the conversation.

With over fifty years of experience dating back to the late 60's, Oliver cut his musical teeth supporting many of the famous UK bands that toured the British seaside towns playing in the huge echoing end of pier pavilions or town halls. Through the glam rock 70's, then through disco, soul, motown and jazz funk of the 80's and 90's. Oliver realised that the key ingredient to any genre of music is a melody, because melodies move people, somehow those notes played on a musical scale can touch a persons heart, make them cry or smile, relax or excite. Magic happens.

Nowadays, Oliver draws on the jazz standards for most of his repertoire, the beautifully crafted arrangements that have stood the test of time. Songs such as Georgia, Blue Moon, The Girl from Ipanema, My Cherie Amour and Summertime played with a tastefully arranged backing that sounds as if you have a cool jazz trio right there. Thanks to the advance of technology, you no longer need to have a large space set aside for the band, a noisy drum set in the same room as guests trying to talk. Oliver can set up in a space approximately 5ft x 4ft, less than a sheet of fibreboard, with his compact PA, stool and computer stand.
