The time has finally arrived; after two sampler releases, the full 'Sonic Battle Weapon' LP from Quantum Mechanix​ lands on Nurtured Beatz. Cooking up beats in the studio since 2017 EP release 'Dirty Tricks', the duo of Thrash Pilot (Jim Kennedy) and Fractals (Jim Wheatley) have crafted an exceptional debut album.

100% Drum & Bass but nonetheless showcasing a wide variety of styles, the LP takes in dirty tech rollers on 'Bellyfunk' and 'The Gremlin', rave influenced rollers on the infectious 'Let The Drums Take You' and deeper, emotive cuts via 'September Blues' and 'Freefalling'. Beginning with the epic vibe of the title track, 'Sonic Battle Weapon' is a freewheeling sonic journey through all the styles of 170BPM music.
