Nic Ford (MadderModes)(Sơn FM) (The Observatory) Dalat Nic Ford moved to Vietnam from the UK around 15 years ago to work as head of music for a new music venue called Sankara. Since then he has been running and featuring on lineups of music and art events throughout the region. He has been a resident of The Observatory (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) since it first opened in 2013 and a resident of T.A.G (Chengdu, China) since 2016. Honing his craft since the mid-nineties, he held his first residency at Dry 201 (Factory Records, New Order) in Manchester and is a voracious collector of a vast array of music. He is an acclaimed electronic music composer and producer, being one half of projects MadderModes and Son FM plus as a solo live performer and DJ (Nic Ford). He has released his music on respected labels such as Millions Of Moments Records (Berlin), Voodoo Down Records (NYC), Night Drive Music (Berlin), Siamese Twins records (BBK) and Jugaar Records and also runs the record label Shift Coordinate Points which releases music from MadderModes, Son FM and Nic Ford.
