Neukleonen Ángel Galán (drums, synths, effects and Juan Musik (keyboards, synths, Madrid Neukleonen band name is a mix of Germanic words "neu" (new) and "nukleonen" (atomic nucleus elements) and combines the personalities of its two components: Angel Galan (one of the leaders of addSensor label) and Juan Musik (Netaudio.es cofounder) who are inspired by their common influences: primitive electronics, kraut sound, British IDM and seminal techno. The result is a production away from fully computed electronic, giving priority to spontaneity and music played live. Therefore, all their music is performed using drumboxes sequenced on the fly, synthesizers and sampled on live musical phrases.
