Fender FR-55 Review Sound Samples by mynodeus published on 2013-12-12T21:05:13Z This playlist demonstrates the sound of my Fender FR-55 Hawaiian Resonator guitar. The tracks were recorded playing in different styles, with different choices of plectrum etc. Note that I have exchanged the factory strings with flatwounds (Thomastik JS113 on most tracks and D'Addario Chromes ECG26 on one track). Recording was done using a RØDE NT2-A microphone in omnidirectional mode. The tracks contain only the recorded signal without any EQ, limiter, compressor, reverb etc..
