PREMIERE: James Bright - Groves [Quattro Music] by Moskalus published on 2020-05-31T08:55:06Z James Bright is a North East England lad and his career in production started a fair way back in ‘99. He was part of successful downbeat duo called Lux alongside Steve Miller, their debut release ‘Northern Lights’ was picked up by a reasonably well-known compilation series called Café Del Mar. As well a number of high-profile sync places, even now ‘Northern Lights’ still sits on some pretty large play lists. It is probably regarded as one the standout, downtempo, Balearic classics of our time. Mostly medalling in down-tempo but sometimes dipping into deep house, James Bright has done some pretty serious remixes for artists like Candi Staton, Roots Manuva and Bad Lieutenant. His highly regarded album ‘Little Things’ received critical acclaim and after a few years hiatus, this solo artist and producer of perfectly polished soundscapes and sparkling electronica returns with the ‘Betamax EP’ on Quattro Music. The ‘Betamax EP’ is a collection of six stunning cuts that sit so well now. In a time when the world has hit the collective slow-down button, we are perfectly poised and at the right speed, to receive these exceptionally well produced and mesmerising tracks from this very accomplished producer. https://awal.ffm.to/betamax Genre Boogie Comment by Danillo assis souza If James Bright, I can trust without fear.
