The air in the club is thick with vanity, the noise swells, laughter grows louder and coarser, flailing to an impersonal song spun by a DJ who fancies himself a prophet. And here I stand – never feeling more alone than in the middle of this aimless herd. From that feeling came i don’t wanna dance, a track echoing indie-electro from the 2010s with a touch of French House, and the first glimpse of my upcoming album, Sad Boyz Club.
