The lyrics talk about the fact that our levels of happiness and fulfillment depend on where we stand compared to others or the neighbor. So our position at any point in time is relative and not absolute. On absolute terms, most of us stand at a level of abundance that is beyond comprehension and is actually mind-boggling.
