本田みちよ　Michiyo Honda Musician / MUSIC SHARE
京都出身。10歳より京都市少年合唱団(ソプラノ)に在籍し、佐藤しのぶ、小林研一郎、小澤征爾指揮のボストン交響楽団，ウィーン少年合唱団と共演するなど、幼い頃より音楽の基礎を学び、音楽を愛し、歌に親しむ。ボーイソプラノのような透明感のある歌声とオーガニックな表現スタイルが魅力のシンガーソングライター。
OVERROCKETとして(1997~2013年6月)活動。WORLD ORDERの「２０１２」「PERMANENT REVOLUTION」、吉岡徳仁 監修の「カルティエ展」会場内音楽に歌で参加、レオパレス２１「それぞれの夢」、CITIZEN CM「xC(クロスシー)」、話題沸騰中のiPhone APP「星めぐりの夜」の歌など様々な分野で活躍する中、
毎月１曲リリースするプロジェクト「Michiyo Honda Monthly Release Project 2011」が話題を呼び、アニメ「ギルティークラウン」劇中歌(フジテレビ）、世界的人気を誇るゲーム「ファイナル ファンタジー１３−２」、人気アイドル麻生夏子のアルバムに楽曲提供、
2012年７月からは会員数１０万人の音楽配信サイトOTOTOYで音楽番組「MUSIC SHARE」を立ち上げ、ブッキングから司会まで務め活動の場を広げている。
WIRE13のコンピレーションにMijk van Dijkとの共作「My Wire To You」収録。横浜アリーナで行われたWIRE13でもMijkのLIVEに大観衆の中、ゲストボーカルとして出演し大成功を収める。現在、年末リリースに向け、アルバムの制作中。

Joined Kyoto Boys & Girls Choir as a soprano in 1984. As a member of the choir, experienced to perform with Vienna boys'choir and Boston symphony Orchestra conducted by Seiji Ozawa.
She has been singing since then.

Joined a techno unit “Overrocket” as a vocalist in 1999.
Overrocket has released 6 albums and 3 singles (Discography below). One of the songs “SUNSET BICYCLE” won the single of the month of MIX MAG, which is a club culture magazine of the U.K..
In 2005, Overrocket was invited to Kiev, Ukraine and gave the first live performance oversea.

Aside from Overrocket, her transparent voice like boys' soprano and neutral expression has won the attention throughout various fields of music industry.
She took part in a song "PERMANENTREVOLUTION" by WORLD ORDER as a chorus, participated Cartier exhibition in Tokyo, numbers of songs in Cams, games and animation such as CITIZEN, Leopalace21, iPhone APP "night of the tour around a star, the anime "guilty crown", a song in the game "Final Fantasy 13-2" and so on.
In 2011, carried out "Michiyo Honda's Monthly Release Project 2011" and released self-produced 12 solo singles.
Since 2012, started Web Music Program “Music Share” as a host of the show to bring the fine music to the viewers.
She also writes songs and lyrics, and always planning for the future project.
