Dom & Roland- Inna Soul Jah [Last Refuge Of A Scoundrel] by Metalheadz published on 2016-09-12T11:47:19Z Buy: https://shop.metalheadz.co.uk/group/last-refuge-of-a-scoundrel This full length album for Headz from Jungle Drum & Bass alumni Dom & Roland comes at a perfect time for the artist and the label, it follows his massive ‘Outta Endz / Unofficial Jah remix’ release and comes at a time where the label has been at its most fertile in recent memory. The album harks back to pioneering 90s aesthetic of the music but it doesn’t feel retrospective, in fact it feels futuristic- a thread that Dom has made sure ties all his work together. The reference points for the album stretch far and wide, from the inspiring and equally green eyed Sunday Sessions at Blue Note to RZA’s approach to sampling. Dom’s own words on the album perhaps shed the most light: “The album is inspired and processed via a collection of moments I had through growing up, the things i was into, memories of good and bad times i'd had and the music i was listening to at the time” Collaborations are kept sparse and potent, US legend Hive turns in a very rare appearance on D.M.T and vocal features come from Robert Manos and Natalie Duncan. The album is Dom & Roland exorcising his artistic demons and we’re proud to be releasing the project on Metalheadz. Let’s leave Goldie to have the last word on the album: “It blows everything else away. Hands down...Right now.... Dom's album destroys everything.” Comment by 571NG going deep! 2019-12-10T02:35:34Z Comment by 64_bit Heart Attack Simulator 2016 2017-11-20T05:06:05Z Comment by 64_bit DEFINITION OF AN ANXIETY ATTACK 2017-11-20T05:03:51Z Comment by stardust pervert :D 2017-03-10T11:10:53Z Comment by Vitality ...and another reason to go for this album 2016-10-20T06:39:41Z Comment by Grown and Healthy Ras! 2016-10-15T05:30:43Z Comment by ARTILECT Yup this is a Headz track 2016-09-30T09:43:02Z Comment by PzYcho Straight up intense 2016-09-28T14:32:30Z Comment by Counter Culture shit the bed this is a madness 2016-09-26T15:44:08Z Comment by miamimike76 BOH!!!!!!! 2016-09-25T18:13:49Z Comment by miamimike76 Drop!!!!! 2016-09-25T18:12:42Z Comment by Twisted Third Eye rufige 2016-09-15T04:33:04Z Comment by Destress Album's gonna be huge! 2016-09-14T10:42:03Z Comment by - KAPAK - Is the man 2016-09-14T08:24:29Z Comment by DBX more militant than a terrorist who has lost his bomb. 2016-09-14T00:06:02Z Comment by degreeproductions Lethal! 2016-09-13T18:02:48Z Comment by [3sidedsquare] haha yes 2016-09-13T08:25:58Z Comment by centaspike monsterr 2016-09-13T04:53:46Z Comment by one_uknw Genius. 2016-09-12T21:05:17Z Comment by LUCA myyy 2016-09-12T20:13:26Z Comment by (KYROdnb) pure rollersss 2016-09-12T17:53:14Z Comment by BoomBox.PT big up to the master Dom n Roland! 2016-09-12T17:10:46Z Comment by Malgash1/2 uwozoguzi 2016-09-12T15:53:19Z Comment by D'n'B every day Jesus... 2016-09-12T14:56:04Z Comment by StanPapi Raining comets 2016-09-12T14:46:15Z
