For this 4th proposal, 'quadraria' is linked to the history of the city Carrières-sous-Poissy, creating the memory of an old underground quarry where various stone materials resonated, provoking a dialogue between them.
The literal and performative juxtaposition of the visual and sonic realms is demonstrated by an installation conceived from printed sheets transcribing the shape of the stones used for the sound performance, and creating a wall-mounted graphic score,
Through its cavernous and incisive sonorities, the sound composition responds to this graphic representation, inviting us into this dark chasm where variations in nuance reflect a change of state, passing from a contrasting ensemble to an erasure of extreme coldness.
