Fuse sub-label, Infuse returns this December with its third various artist package, again showcasing the unique and formidable sound the Fuse brand, this time courtesy of Mariano Mateljan, Alci, Ferro and Steve Abot.

The Infuse digital imprint, was launched by the Fuse London crew in March of 2013, as a platform for releasing underground cuts from the ever-evolving collective involved with the infamous London events. The initial few releases saw up and comers Samu.l, Jun Akimoto, and Mariano Mateljan featured, brilliantly honing on a clear-cut style for the label, and bringing to light the talents of some refreshing artists. Here it pushes forward with its third release, again welcoming back Mariano and Steve Abot and introducing Ferro and Alci to the roster.

Mariano Mateljan’s ‘Pigeon Boxer’ kicks things off; the Croatian producer turns in a rugged low-slung workout, built around subtly evolving drums, bumpy sub-bass and sporadic phased vocal lines to create a smooth head-nodder. Following is ‘Justice’ by Alci, the Swiss producer and Robsoul artist delivers a dubbed-out analogue feeling cut, which cleverly blossoms and retracts with an underlying tension for its entire seven minute duration, pure understated class on show here.

Entering the latter half of the single we have Ferro’s ‘Semmer’, something entirely different in contrast to the preceding records, the Dutch artist provides us with a glitched-out, swirling affair with elongated bass drones, and a vacillating dynamism, which gives off an ever-evolving modular feel to the tack. Then to close things Steve Abot offers up ‘Sovereign’, Belgium’s finest takes a more direct 4/4 approach to wind down the package, with failsafe 909 drums, bulbous subs and expansive atmospherics, closing things in style.
