Fresh from a non-stop summer touring the UK’s biggest festivals, including Glastonbury, Wilderness, Secret Garden Party, Beatherder and more, Madame Electrifie is back with her 5th release of the year. Taking things darker with some driving breakbeat laced with UK Garage flavours, Tension is a rolling peak time raver perfect for when fields turn into warehouses in the UK rave scene.

Earlier this year her remix of Sam Redmore’s ‘Music Is’ was instantly picked up by BBC 6 Music’s Jam Supernova and was followed hot on its heels by Our love, a summer anthem which was championed by BBC Introducing. Tension makes a nod to the darker side of her influences, and is released in perfect timing ahead of her gig with the Stanton Warriors in October. What's more, the track will be available for free download exclusively from Soundcloud.

With 20 years behind the decks under her belt, Madame Electrifie has a reputation as a multi-genre party starter who is just as much at home with afternoon funk and global disco excursions as she is with 4 am bassline rave ups. In 2022 she finally got her productions into gear and has released a steady stream of tracks and remixes, cementing her already solid position as a leading light in UK dance music.
