Nicholas Madrigal is an American artist singer-songwriter, director born July 7, 1997 (07/07/97) in Sacramento, California. They are known by their stage name Lil Bruh Gwop in the United States and Europe. Gwop has always harnessed a passion for art and creative writing since the age of five. In schooling, Gwop excelled in art and japanese classes; spending most of their teen years expressing themselves creatively, and producing music. Excluding a deleted discography from 2014-2017.
Emerging from the dark corners of the internet’s, alternative underground scene; Gwop's discography is a testament to an artist’s creative versatility and evolution. From debut collaborations over the last decade, which introduced listeners to emotive storytelling, witchcraft & atmospheric soundscapes such as “The Wired” a collaboration with Chiaki J. Konaka and Ryūtarō Nakamura, the creators of the anime Serial Experiments Lain. A match made in heaven for their audience. This collaboration has garnered attention from fans of both art & anime. The anime is known for its mind-bending themes and philosophical undertones, which mirror the kind of introspective journey that Gwop's music often takes listeners on. This collaboration with the creators of Serial Experiments Lain, a Japanese anime television series created / co-produced by Yasuyuki Ueda. Written by Chiaki J.
