Growing Up by LHD

LHD are back with another single, almost exactly one year since their previous release. The past year for LHD has been spent quietly honing their production skills and working on new music, and are excited to finally share their nostalgia-inducing anthem “Growing Up”.

A beautiful melodic track drawing heavily upon masterfully produced synths, “Growing Up” is not just easy on the ears. The song also displays lyrical depth and maturity, and builds steadily through well structured verses and choruses, and peaks with an inspirational, bursting-forth bridge.
Throughout the song, the band are selective with harmonies and timing, and carefully placed riffs.

“Growing Up” raises the figurative middle finger to those people in your life that always seem to have an opinion about what you are or aren’t doing, and love to criticise others. Although this is the case, the song is ultimately motivational, and listeners will find it brings a message of hope and a confidence in staying true to yourself, despite what others think.

"Growing up" is about trying to find yourself in a world where people, especially ones who don’t really care that much about you, have strong overpowering opinions about who you are and what you should be doing.
