"The Valley of Apples and Hope"

I'm totally going to name a place in one of my stories "The Valley of Apples and Hope". And something awesome is going to happen there. :D

I originally was trying to compose a piece that involved a lot of piano in 6/8 timing, a piece hastily codenamed "Project Orangejuice". But I just didn't like the sounds I got with my piano soundfonts. New ideas sprouted in my head, and a split-off project was born, "Project Applejuice", later renamed "The Valley of Apples and Hope".

I've never spent so much time fiddling with equalization and reverb to try to make all the instruments blend together. Most of the mixing was done with earbuds, so forgive me if the bass range isn't glorious. I hope it's delicious. Like apples!

I'm also using a soft limiter now to help boost the loudness a bit.
