When I listen to this track, I imagine the underground hidden palace crumbling away, the occupants fleeing, a sense of urgency, but also sadness as they forever leave the magical place that was so dear to them. I was going through all the Sonic the Hedgehog music remixes on my computer and noticed that I had no remixes of the theme from the most magical place of all - the hidden palace! After listening again to the original Hidden Palace theme I realized that it was not as inspiring of a track as I thought, and I had no vision for what to do with it. But I decided to remix it anyway. After bumbling through a few experiments, I found what I wanted to do... and here it is! Synthetic and a bit harsh, but I think beautiful. :) This has 15 beats per measure. Hehe. Oh, and happy valentines day. O_o Made with Linux Multimedia Studio. Approximate time spent: 10 hours!
