I can see what you mean Korey, some characters are too iconic to portray them differently. Although, I wouldn't have a problem having a black-or any race- Batman as long as it isn't Bruce Wayne. Maybe a black guy that somehow becomes Batman, takes over as him or something. Same for other characters. It wouldn't even need to be an alternate universe.

To me that just wasn't Spiderman. I couldn't go along with Edward Cullen hair Parker because he lacked some of what the original Peter Parker was, in personality and appearance. I also couldn't stand that he would take the mask off every damn minute!

@user8270006: What are you shaking your head for at Korey? Are you saying there's no such thing as a 'pure black' person in the US? If you're talking about descendants of slaves, then okay, but there's a lot of black Americans who aren't descended from slaves, some are immigrants or the children of immigrants from Africa, and there's a good chance they aren't 1/8th white or w/e like a lot of African Americans are, that's why African Americans tend to look quite differently compared to black people from Africa. Compare someone like Danai Gurira to African American actresses like Kerry Washington or Tracey Ross, or compare someone like Djimon Hounsou to Will Smith or Cuba Gooding Jr.
