Butterfly Wings is Kat Five’s first solo release, a fragile and haunting electronic track about freedom, that features a sample of a butterfly that found its way into her studio. Played by John Kennedy on Radio X X-Posure, it's a song of hope in dark times, and was inspired by Racines in Morocco, and its slogan #LaCultureEstLaSolution. This experimental tune’s message is that even the tiniest actions can create change. It features swirling butterfly sounds, velvet vocals, and sparse crackling beats.
