I kept thinking about how voices never really disappear. They just move into other forms, recordings, fragments, impressions in our heads. Freddie was one of those voices for me. Larger than life, theatrical, human and like a presence that never fully left.

It’s about that moment when music feels bigger than the room you’re in. When a voice on the radio, or in your head, suddenly feels alive again. When you forget who you were five minutes ago and just exist in sound.

Maybe we’re all a bit like that now, half digital, half human, carrying traces of people, songs and feelings that shaped us. This track is me trying to capture that feeling before it slips away.
