British DJ and producer Josh Hvaal has quickly established himself as one of electronic dance music’s most exciting breakthrough artists. Rooted in house and forward-thinking club sounds, his rise began when world-renowned DJ Jamie Jones signed his debut The Sound EP to the influential Hot Creations label. That partnership led to eight releases across Jones’ labels, propelling Josh onto the international underground stage and earning support from tastemakers such as Patrick Topping, Joseph Capriati, Solomun, Pete Tong, and Jamie Jones himself.

Josh’s dancefloor-focused productions have since become staples in club and festival sets worldwide, consistently championed by leading DJs and embraced by global audiences. Marking a new chapter, he launched his own label Gibberish, created to spotlight cutting-edge, high-energy club music driven by originality and vision. The label was officially unveiled by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, followed by Josh delivering a BBC Radio 1 Hot Mix—further confirming his growing influence within the scene.

With a busy release schedule ahead and the same raw energy that first drew him to club culture, Josh continues to push his sound forward with clarity and intent.
