Joe Bye's infectious style of high energy acoustic rock has made him a local favorite with a diverse fan base.
Joe's debut album, "Joe Bye Unleashed", received airplay on KBCO, KTCL, and KGNU, and was a featured artist performing several times live on KBCO Studio C Local Edition and the KGNU Kaberet. Bye performed at venues and events both locally and nationally including CBGB's Gallery, Cafe Sine, Cafe A-Go Go in New York, Daytona Beach Bike Week, Evergreen's Big Chili Cookoff, The Little Bear, Evergreen, CO, Herman's Hideaway, Denver, CO, and seasonal performances at apres ski venues including the Red Lion, Vail, and the Kickapoo Tavern, Keystone.
From 1997 thru 2007 Joe Bye owned and operated the Buck Snort Saloon, in Pine, CO and as the featured performer there, his shows are now legendary.
Bye's unique blend of original and cover music has made him staple of the Colorado music scene. Occasionally accompanied by a mandolin, fiddle or second guitar, his show encompasses a full array of easy listening and energetic acoustic rock which is guaranteed to move you!
Once named "the hardest working man in local show business" by G. Brown of the Denver Post, Bye received recognition as opening act for such notables as Steppenwolf, The Guess Who, Little River Band, Kris Kristofferson, Warren Zevon, Steve Forbett and Jim Messina among others.
Joe is currently preparing to release a new EP, recorded at Ragtop Studios in Nashville with the producer Kim Copeland.
