Paraa vaa yesha yajnaam pashoon vapathi
Yo agnim udvaasyathe pacha kapaala purodaso bhavathi
Paanktho Yajna paankthaa pashavo yajnameva pashoon ava rundhathe.
Veerahaa vaa esha devaanaam
Yo agnim udvaasyathe
Na vaa ethasya braahmanaa rithaayava
Puraa annam akshan pankthyo yaajnaanuvaakya
Bhavanthi paanktho Yajna paanktha
Purusho devaaneva veeram niravadaaya
Agnim punar aadhathe.
Sathaaksharaa bhavanthi
Sathaayu purusha
Sathendriya
Aayushi eva indriye prathi tishtathi.
Yadvaa agnir aahitho nardhyathe
Jyaayo bhagadheyam nikaamaamayamaano
Yat aagneyam sarvam bhavathi
Sa evaa asya riddhi.
Sam vaa ethasya grihe vaak srijyathe
Yo agnim udvaasyate sa vaacham samsrishtam
Yajamana eeshvaro anu paraabhavithor
Vibhakthayo bhavanthi vaacho vidhrithyai
Yajamaanasya aparaabhaavaya.
Vibhakthim karothi brahmaiva tat akar
Upaamshu yajathi vaamam vasu vividaano
Goohathi taadrik eva tat.
Agnim prathi svishtakritham
Niraaha yadhaa vaamam vasu
Vividaanaa prakaasham jigamishathi
Taad rik eva tat.
Vibhakthim uktvaa prayaajena
Vashat karothi aayathanaat ethi.
Yajamaano vai purodaasa pashava ethe
Aahuthi yat abhita purodaasam ethe
Aahuthi juhothi yajamaanam eva ubhayatha
Pasubhi parigrihnaathi.
Krithayaju sambrutha sambhaara ithi
Aahur na sambhruthya sambhaara
Na yaju karthavyam ithi.
Atho khalu sambhruthya eva
Sambhaaraa karthavyam Yajur
Yajnasya samridhai.
Punar nishkritho rado dakshina
Punar utsyootham vasah
Punar utsarshto anadvaan
Punar aadheyasya samridhai.
Saptha the agne samidhah
Saptah jihvaa ithi agnihothram Juhothi yathra yathraiva
Asya ni aktham tatha evainam rundhe.
Veerahaa eva esha devaanaam
Yo agnim udvaasyathe
Tasya Varuna eva runyaat
Agni vaarunam ekaadasha kapaalam anu
Nirvaped yam chaiva hanta
Ya cha asya rinyaath tow bhaagadheyena
Preenathi na aartim aa richhathi yajamaanaa.
Meaning
He who discards the inner fire loses the urge to do karma
He then loses his inner light.
The sacrifice is of the body made of five elements
The sacrifice or karma is five fold
Inner light and wisdom is five fold
He who is active with his body
Wins the sacrifice and the inner wisdom.
On extinguishing the inner fire one loses his godliness
In your journey in search of the truth let not food be a hindrance
Yaajyaas and anuvaakyaas are in the pankthi metre
Just as the activity is five fold,and Human life is five fold
In your search for godliness Re establish the fire within.
May god bless to be active for hundred years.
Like the syllables which are hundred
May the hundreds of powers of man increase
In the hundred years ordained for man
May GOD bless with internal powers and active life.
Agni is in born in every one
To make the Agni glow one has to take effort
May god bless to make the Agni glow inside.
Losing one’s internal fire is bound to make ones home quarrelsome
May god bless to retain harmony in the household.
May god bless to recite holy manthras.
May god bless to recite the holy yajus
May god’s blessings be showered on us.
May god bless to be loud in the prayers to Agni
May god bless to remove the hesitation to pray.
May god bless us to discriminate in usage of words
May we be active in uttering our prayers.
Bless us to realize that the body is the offering in the sacrifice of life
Mantthras and offerings are the blessings
Bless us to offer all our wealth of knowledge in this life.
Or a healthy ox highly active.
May we use the seven faculties to rekindle the fire within
May the seven tongues of the Agni be kindled
May Agnihothra result in kindling the fire.
May lord Varuna bless the one who rekindles the fire within
May we offer prayers to Agni and Varuna
May we be blessed on performing the sacrifice.
