Vachaspathaye pavasva vaajin vrishaa vrishno
Amshubyaam gabhasthiputho
Devo devaanaam pavithram asi
Yeshaam bhago asi thebya tvaa
Svaamkrithosi
Madhumatheer na ishaa kridhi
Visvebhya tvaa indriyebhyo divebhya paarthivebhyo
Manah tvaa ashtu
Ooru anthareeksham anvi
Swaaha tva subhavah sooryaya
Devebhya tvaa mareechipebhya
Esha the yoni praanaaya tvaa
Meaning
Oh Praana the Lord of speech ,
the almighty who showers opulence
Purify me by showering your rays
You are the almighty who is pure
You are the almighty itself
You are highly regarded
Make our actions sweet
In all our sense inspired actions
May the mind be in you
May the mind travel wide
Bless me oh auspicious Soorya
Bless me Oh all the GODs
May the supreme life force take birth in me.
