Karmane vaam Devebhya shakeyam
Veshaya thaw

Adthye twa upasthe saadayami.

Meaning
I pray for strength for performing this Yajna to Gods
You be Vishnu, the all encompassing.
Remove all negative thoughts within us
And burn up all negative energies
Oh Agni, you are the most pure, and rich and the messenger of GOD
Make me firm and unwavering.
May I look upon myself with the eyes of Mitra!
And may I not be troubled since no harm will befall upon me.
Let me be open to the Prana energy
With the blessings of GOD Savitr
And with the arms of Ashwin
And palms of Pushan
I make my offering to Agni.
The energy generated is offered to the Agni within me.
This is for the GODs Agni and Soma and for all of us
You are for our welfare.
May I hold the Universal light (vaiswanara) in front.
May the heaven and earth increase my inner powers!
Be always within us
I place thou on the lap of Infinity (Aditi)
Oh Agni, guard the offering made by me.
