His all-time hero has long been Danny Tenaglia, who stands as his biggest inspiration. Other DJs who have inspired him over the years include Tania Vulcano, Clive Henry, Shonky, Raresh, Dan Ghenacia, and Laurent Garnier. In 2010, Ivo and a friend, Dimitri van Arnhem, launched their label, Lowendcommunity. Their first release came out on October 1, 2010. Prior to the label's launch, they had already received full support for some of their upcoming releases from names like Laurent Garnier, Michel de Hey, Jeff Mills, Hermanez, and many more. A sister label, Nightworx/NWX, was established in 2011. Currently, Ivo serves as a resident at Hidden Garden Festival, LaFete040, and Floorfillers by Pleasure Seekers.
