SANSOM is a dynamic rock artist and band hailing from Brighton, UK. Formerly known as Edward Sansom, he has streamlined his name to simply SANSOM to reflect a new wave of creativity and momentum.

Delivering a powerful blend of dark tension and lyrical depth, SANSOM's music evolves into anthemic rock choruses that resonate on the dance floor. Drawing inspiration from iconic artists like Bowie, SANSOM's charged sound is reminiscent of bands such as QOTSA, Arctic Monkeys, and Foals. His raw and honest performances are driven by gritty guitars and captivating melodies.

Having made a mark beyond his hometown, SANSOM has graced prestigious festival lineups, including Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, and Camden Rocks. He has also been a featured artist at The Great Escape and BN1 Festivals, earning Track of the Day placements on the BBC Introducing show on BBC Sussex/Surrey and international airplay on RTE2XM.

This year, SANSOM has been hard at work in the studio, collaborating with producer Alex Gordon on four exciting new tracks. As Milky aptly put it, “SANSOM has spent the last few years honing in on his signature sound, arriving at his own distinct realm of alt-rock.”
