HUNRetroGeek

This place is going to be a home of my 8-bit and 16-bit era Chiptunes, mostly covers to see (or hear rather) how certain tracks sound with the limitations of a superior/inferior system in comparison to the originals, or simply to test myself how close I can get my attempt of recreation. Sometimes I'll get original songs up as well, the only way to improve myself is to listen feedback after all!

+ Konami VRC6 (Providing 3 extra monophonic channels) [2 Pulse channels, 1 Sawtooth]
+ Konami VRC7 (Providing 6 extra monophonic channels, based on the Yamaha YM2413 / OPLL) [6 2-operator FM channels]
+ Namco N163 (Providing up to 8 extra monophonic channels) [up to 8 wavetable sysnth channels]

Yamaha YM2612 (Main sound chip of the Sega Genesis) [6 4-operator FM channels, or 5 FM + 1 8-bit Sampler)
+ Texas Instruments SN76489 (secondary sound chip of the Sega Genesis, sound chip of the Sega Master System) [3 Square tone channels + 1 Noise
