Vinyl and underground music enthusiast, Hugo Esmeraldo delicately curates his sets by keeping his crowds continuously intrigued and surprised. His transitions are always incredibly clean and his music of the highest quality. His music is mainly rooted in House and Minimal music but also loves to play a wide variety of music across the whole underground electronic spectrum

Born in Paris in 1996, Hugo was always destined to hit the dancefloors being born from an 80’s UK acid house raver mother. His cultural diversity ended up taking him to Barcelona where he finally officially started playing out at gigs across the city at venues such as Pacha, SB Hotel Diagonal Zero Rooftop, Drome Club, Carpe Diem, Café Del Mar and many more. The passion for DJ’ing started when he was 12 years old playing CDs on his CDJs in his bedroom but his addiction for vinyl and record shopping began in Barcelona where the digging culture is so healthy.

Quickly his attention turned to curating his own events with his duo and business partner Pisano. Together they founded KINETICS and LA ASO during the COVID-19 pandemic, the industry’s most challenging period ever. The two of them were determined to keep the scene alive and connecting people through “safe-raves” before they took the brand to Tulum, Mexico for a season where Hugo was able to book and play with the likes of Dan Ghenacia, Archie Hamilton, Richy Ahmed, wAFF, Traumer, Janeret, Maher Daniel and many others.

His adventure is now continuing in the Americas after he had his NYC debut playing alongside Jamie Jones for PARTNYC and has now set up a base in Tulum where exciting plans are ahead.
