Jey Kurmis is amongst those at the forefront of the new wave of artists emerging from the north of England. Following his huge debut EP on Hot Creations last year, the talented producer gets set to release the mighty ‘Kari EP’ featuring a Jamie Jones Re-edit and a co-production with Shannon.

All four tracks on the EP are chock full with sonic resonance, monstrous bass-lines, shaking hats, warped melodies, tripped out FX and infectious vocal hooks, all already causing some serious damage on dance-floors. All tracks have been getting heavy support from the crew: Jamie Jones, Patrick Topping, Waff, Eats Everything and Richy Ahmed.

Jey Kurmis is a Leeds based producer who has been DJing all over the UK for almost a decade and producing for around seven years. From his first release on Phobic Records to this artist defining EP for Hot Creations last year, Jey has been honing his craft with support from some of the biggest names in the game including Heidi, Jamie Jones, Richy Ahmed and wAFF.

A name on the rise particularly since he joined the NGE Agency, Jey Kurmis’ other releases and remixes can be found on the likes of VIVA Music, Resonance Records and Wow! Recordings.
