West-coast psyche-folk artist Ora Cogan is set to release her latest album Shadowland, on Hidden City Records. The album is out May 6 both digitally and on cassette. A special vinyl release of the record with Portland label Beacon Sound will be in the hands of fans by summertime. Pre-orders for all formats will be available April 15.

Co-produced by Trish Klein from acclaimed alt-folk band The Be Good Tanyas, Shadowland is a collection of haunting songs centered around Ora's voice and guitar that somehow manage to be both melancholic and radiant. The ensemble of some of Vancouver's finest musicians who support her on this album bring power, grace, and subtlety to the music without ever imposing. Folky, sinewy, dark, wisened, Shadowland is an album of superb and ethereal pop melodies, that will get under your skin and spin around in your head long after the stereo has been turned off.
