Rita Bass is a producer, DJ and music journalist from Naarm/ Melbourne, Australia. Her musical output meets at the unlikely intersections of post-punk, cyper-pop and emotional drum and bass music. Underpinning both her production and DJ mixes, is a strong conceptual focus as well as more recent explorations in universal sentiment of isolation, musings of depression and shortcomings of habitual existence explored within spoken word and vocals injected into her DJ mixes.
