Most mandalas involve creating beautiful and intricate masterpieces of art that often take days, weeks, or even longer to make. The creators of this art dedicate all of their time, attention, and energy to create something that will eventually be purposefully destroyed and dismantled. This destruction process represents the impermanence of life and I couldn't help but relate it to art, music, creation, and really anything we hold dearly. There is a certain beauty in creating something just for the sake of creating. No expectations and no attachment, just focusing on the journey and not the end result. A magical hello and a peaceful goodbye. I hope this idea, these tunes, this mixtape as a whole, and these words empower you to ride the ever changing waves of life in 2024 and beyond.
