Doublure & Pinche RICO - GMD002 by Gourmandisque

Gourmandisque releases its second EP “GMD 002”, a splitted EP composed by Doublure (@doubluremusic), co-founder of the label and Pinche RICO (@ricolamusique), head of Apéro Electronique. With its five eclectic and incisive tracks, the EP considers electronic music at the crossroads of an organic and cybernetic imagination.

1. Through the Gate
With its symphonic layers and its arpeggiator in the background, Through the Gate is a dialogue between synthesizers that put us straight into orbit.

2. Aioae
At the heart of the machine's circuit boards, Aioae's android voices overlap with aggressive synths, producing a cybernetic resonance at the border of early trance.

3. Double Loading
Using the ARP 2600 and synthesizer sweeps, Double Loading offers an airy rhythm in which the layers spatialize the listening and temporize the moment.

4. Take Square
A paradoxical track for a whispering dynamism. With vocals borrowed from ASMR and a background sound of a river, this two part composition gradually opens up to reveal its melodic theme.

5. Blossom
The story of an outbreak of humor, starting with a burst of laughter. The harmonic part provided by the Juno 106 collides with the acidity of the TB-303. Major melodies that roam and celebrate.
