Music from Murder in the Cathedral (Rough MIDI output) by Gord Sellar published on 2023-02-22T06:24:59Z In 1995, I composed some choral program music for the T.S. Eliot play MURDER IN THE CATHEDRAL. It never got used—it was too tough and we ended up improvising some Gregorian-chant-ish sounding stuff—but I've had the score for ages, so I figured I'd notate it digitally and see what it would have sounded like. This is a "Gloria" from the Latin Mass, which was to be sung just before the Intermission. It's just MIDI output from Musescore, but I may see if I can get a more authentic-sounding recording with voices and lyrics sometime soon. We'll see. Genre Classical
