Gop Cast 155 - Manuel Darquart by Gop Tun

For this edition of Gop Cast, we welcome Manuel Darquart — the UK-via-New Zealand DJ and producer with a deep affection for the warmer, dreamier corners of dance music.

Raised in Auckland and now based in London, Manuel has spent the last few years shaping his own sun-soaked universe of house, Italo, boogie and Balearic sounds. His productions have landed on labels including Wolf Music, Coastal Haze, Infinite Pleasure, Slam City Jams and Permanent Vacation, while his long-running Netil Radio show has become a home for everything from forgotten ’90s house and pre-’88 Ibiza cuts to obscure bargain-bin gems.

A dedicated digger with an ear for music that feels equally at home in a dark basement or under an open sky, Manuel brings that same spirit to his DJ sets: silky, playful, euphoric and always a little unexpected.
