Progress can mean a lot of things, but in art it tends to refer to the process of maturing or developing one's own personality or a certain style. When we look at Gabto's trajectory thus far and listen to this mix, both these meanings find a very special convergence. Hailing from the southernmost of the Brasilian capitals, he grew up surrounded by the type of sensorial stimuli that entices creativity and encourages audacity and soon found himself at the epicenter of cultural activities in the country's main metropolis, where he is part of some of the most crews and projects that animate the musical scenario of the city, chiefly among them the wonderful Cereal Melodia radio series. And here he provides us with the type of impetus and intricacy that is enough to keep us moving for as long as it lasts.
