While all of us are living the quarantine life, Good Room has asked friends and residents to share mixes for our Solitude Series so you can dance on your own. The 25th mix comes from Matt FX. Matt FX is a DJ, producer, music supervisor, and emerging food personality. As a DJ, Matt approaches each and every set with an irreverence that the New York Times calls 'interesting social commentary on multiple levels'. As a music supervisor, he's the man behind the soundtrack of the Comedy Central show BROAD CITY. As a producer, he just released his debut single Vaquero on Sorry Records. 100% of sales proceeds from Vaquero go to Crisis Text Line, a nonprofit organization offering free 24/7 mental health support. Here's what he had to say about the mix;

"This mix is a reflection on a trip I took to Mexico in early March right before the Covid-19 Lockdown began. On the very first night that I arrived I played a six hour all-night set at Departamento that is now one of my top 10 all-time DJ memories. Later in the trip I also had a profound experience in Tepotzlan that led me to produce Vaquero after returning to NYC. Good Room is without a doubt my favorite [legal] place to dance and DJ in New York - so grateful to be able to contribute to the solitude series!"
