Point as references, Juan Atkins, Daniel Bell, Moodymann, Theo Parrish, the Legendary Dj Harvey, and cities that marked the dance music like Chicago, Detroit, New York or London. The project is based more in House as a musical style, but is also branching to Techno at its most deep slope as you can hear for example in Berlin.
Gonçalo hosted highly respected Podcast Series for over eight years, starting with the Braulio176 series with contributions from MoveD, Prosumer, Eli Verveine, to name a few. His latest series Salão Ático received a lot of international attention for showcasing well-selected DJ-mixes from established names like Fred P., XDB, Esther Duijn, Steve Tang, Hinode and many more.
In 2014 Gonçalo started hosting Salão Ático - nights in his hometown Porto with guests as XDB, Esther Duijn and Chris Mitchell.
In early 2015 he launched his own label, Helena, a vinyl only imprint with a strong focus on visual aesthetics. The covers are made with B/W pictures taken by himself in the streets of Porto. From garbage to patterns, from textures to noise, Gonçalo aims to visualize the vibe of the music from inside the package, on the covers.
