Rails_Noise_Humanity by Golsana Shenasaei

This composition and sound design tells the stories of the underground world shaped by human hands.

The sounds in this piece come from recordings I made in Berlin’s underground. I transformed these sounds and added melodies with my cello.

The sounds reflect the tension in the noisy world we have built. The energy of a world always moving, always rushing. But beneath this noise lies a question: is this the world we dreamed of, or the one we’ve trapped ourselves in?

And yet, somewhere in the layers of sound, there is a pause, a breath—a small moment where stillness hides, waiting to be felt.
