**"Heaven"** is an original instrumental piece inspired by the warmth of modern country and the sophisticated atmosphere of AOR.

Rather than relying on dense arrangements, the song focuses on space, dynamics, and the interaction between the instruments. Each part is given room to breathe, creating a relaxed yet expressive groove.

The piano maintains a repeating rhythmic pattern in the right hand while the left hand follows the harmonic movement. I especially wanted the main motif to evoke the bright, uplifting feel of classic blues piano riffs.

The bass begins with an emotional, AOR-inspired approach, then gradually shifts after the key change into a more syncopated, funk-oriented feel. The drum machine is based on a classic Roland TR-909 style, but I also wanted to capture the way 909 grooves became integrated into R&B productions from the 1990s onward.

The song begins in **F major**, moving through the verse and chorus before returning to the verse. Instead of simply repeating the chorus, it transitions through the ascending progression **E♭ → F → G**, naturally modulating into **G major**. From there, the same verse and chorus motifs return, now reimagined in the new key.

For the guitars, the **left channel** uses a middle/rear pickup blend, switching between a clean Marshall tone and the drive channel of my homemade **Nutube** overdrive pedal. The **right channel** plays supporting melodic lines using the neck pickup with the gain pushed slightly harder for a warmer, singing character.
