Ear Trumpet by Gobbledegook published on 2014-11-07T13:31:21Z Ear Trumpet is about listening. It’s about the sound under the ground. The noises that you would miss if you didn’t listen for them. The secret music under your feet. This is the music specifically written for the installation by Bridport-based musician and composer Robert Lee (National Theatre, BBC, Cambridge University Press). Robert Lee’s score is contemporary classical music, written in response to the original site’s location, but customised for everywhere the installation visits. Gobbledegook Theatre believes that getting people to listen closely to the ground might in turn help them to listen to the world around them more closely.
